DC Multisport donates to three organizations

JASPER — Coinciding with Giving Tuesday, DC Multisport presented checks benefiting the Dubois County Community Foundation, Huntingburg Teen Outback and Mentors for Youth.

The Dubois County Triathlon, Duathlon, and Team Relay held July 21 benefited Mentors for Youth and the Huntingburg Teen Outback. Mentors for Youth, an organization dedicated to facilitating mutually beneficial relationships between youth and adults for the purpose of enhancing individual lives and the community, received $2,000. The Huntingburg Teen Outback received a $1,000 contribution in support of their Healthy Eating Active Living initiative focusing on children’s nutrition.

The Dubois County Community Foundation received $1,665.11, adding to the DC Multisport endowment. The endowment, which totals $21,595, was put in place to support youth programs.

DC Multisport hosts several events throughout the county, including the Jingle Bell Jog and nature hikes. Entry for these events are non-perishable food items that are donated to the Dubois County Food Bank. For event details, or to become a member, visit DCMultisport.com.
