Daylight saving time starts SundayMarch 12, 2021
By Herald Staff
Daylight saving time will begin Sunday.
That means the time on clocks, watches and other timepieces should be shifted forward one hour — from 2 to 3 a.m., for instance. People tend to make the change Saturday night before going to bed.
It is also recommended that the batteries in household carbon monoxide and smoke alarms be checked and changed if needed.
Daylight saving time will last until Sunday, Nov. 7.
