David L. Richardson, 78, Bloomfield
April 20, 2020David L. Richardson, 78, of Bloomfield, passed away at 5:52 p.m. on Saturday, April 11, 2020, at Good Samaritan Society Shakamak Retirement Community, Jasonville.
He was born June 6, 1941, in Huntingburg, to Raymond and Mildred (Wibbeler) Richardson.
Larry had served in the United States Air Force for 23 years. He retired from NSWC Crane Division.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James Allen Richardson.
He is survived by his son, Matt Richardson of Monroe, Michigan; a brother, Jerald Richardson of Bloomfield; four granddaughters, Mercedes of Champaign, Illinois, Alexandria of Urbana, Illinois, and Meagan and Sarah, of Newport, Michigan; one grandson, Taylor from Paxton, Illinois; two great-granddaughters, Fallon of Champaign, Illinois, and Finnley of Urbana, Illinois; and two great-grandsons, Major and Kyrie of Champaign Illinois.
Private graveside services will be held at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg on Tuesday, April 21 2020.
Nass and Son Funeral Home has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
