Daughters of the American Revolution Meeting

The Dubois County Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution will meet on Tuesday evening, April 20, 2021 at 6:30 in the Trinity Church of Christ Chapel located at 310 West 8th Street in Jasper. DAR member, Paula Marshall, will present the evening's program on the Boston Massacre, a deadly riot that occurred on March 5, 1770. The conflict energized anti-British sentiment and paved the way for the American Revolutionary War.

The DAR organization is a nonprofit, non-political volunteer service organization that was founded in 1890 with the simple mission of promoting historical preservation, education and patriotism. These timeless, overarching principles still keep the DAR strong and vitally relevant in today's ever changing world.
