Darlene E. Hassfurther, 87, Ferdinand
December 28, 2020Darlene E. Hassfurther 87, passed away Saturday December 26, 2020 at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

Darlene was born November 28, 1933 in Celestine, IN. to Frank and Lauretta (Schulz) Hasenour. She was united in marriage to Linus E. Hassfurther on May 3, 1955 in Saint Celestine Church. Linus preceded her in death on July 24, 2020.
Darlene was a farmer and a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, baking, sewing and crochet. She was a member of Christ the King Parish, Saint Ferdinand Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Sheila (Cliff) Fleck of Jasper and Cindy Hassfurther of Ferdinand. Three sons, Russell (Tina) Hassfurther, Bill Hassfurther, and Andy Hassfurther all of Ferdinand. Nine grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was preceded in death by a son, Tony Hassfurther.
Visitation will be private, and Mass will be at 10 a.m. at Saint Ferdinand Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.becherfuneralhome.com.
