Dale man charged with OWI

DALE — Authorities charged a Spencer County motorist with impaired driving last week after a traffic stop.
A Dale Police Department officer reported Jonathan C. Gillaspie, 21, 595 N. Washington St., Dale, showed signs of impairment after the officer had observed him driving a 1997 Ford Explorer the evening of Monday, April 27.
Police said Gillaspie’s blood alcohol content later tested .18% during a certified test at the Dale Police Department.
Gillaspie was arrested and charged with misdemeanor operating while intoxicated and criminal mischief in Spencer Circuit Court.
