Dale High School Class of 1957

The Dale High School Class of 1957 celebrated their 61st class reunion on Aug. 18 at the Dale American Legion Home. Thirteen class members gathered for a special day of remembering and reminiscing about their high school years. Two classmates, Bob Woolsey and Harold Huffman, were recognized for their service to our country by serving in the United States Air Force. Mr. Dennis Gries brought his 1957 yellow and white Chevrolet convertible for the group to enjoy a trip back in time. Many of the attendees were delighted to take a spin around the countryside in his beautifully restored vehicle. Entertainment was provided by The House Kats. Their music from the ‘50s and ‘60s made everyone feel young again. Back row, from left, Beverly Walters Griffith, Bob Woolsey, Anthony Bender, Vernon Geiss, Larry Taylor, Malee Hufnagel Burress, Harold Huffman, Roger Kaiser, Beverly Hevron Kaiser, David Knott and Sharon Eskridge Miller; front row, Joyce Scales Gilpatrick and Janice Evans Houchin.
