Curtis Lee Brown, 61, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, April 2, 2019, at his residence.
He was born in Paoli on May 18, 1957, to Joyce Herdt.
Curtis was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Dean Patton and Larry Don Patton; and one sister, Kimberly Mae Gabrel.
He had attended Springs Valley High School and worked in construction as a carpenter.
Curtis was the type of person that would help anyone he could . He enjoyed sports and loved Nascar Racing, especially Jeff Gordon.
He is survived by his mother, Joyce Herdt, West Baden Springs; one son, Toby Christopher Riley Brown, Bloomington; one daughter, Mandy Jane Brown, Jasper; five brothers, Michael Brown Sr., Kevin Patton and Robert Patton, all of West Baden Springs, Gary Brown, Austin, and Doug Shipman, French Lick; two sisters, Karen Patton, Paoli, and Jamie Shipman, West Baden Springs; four grandchildren, Alex Joseph Crutchfield, Kody Charles Riley Brown, Kendra Lynn Brown and Stormi Rae Cole; and one great-grandchild, Kaizen Michael Kendall.
Direct cremation was chosen.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service, French Lick.
