CRYSTAL — An Indiana State Police trooper responding to a Thursday afternoon crash just west of Crystal arrested the Orange County driver and accused him of impaired driving.
Police were called at 3:20 p.m. to the crash along State Road 56, just west of Crystal.
A trooper said the driver of the 1993 Ford involved in the accident, Nicholaus E. Brosmer, 35, whose 2276 Rusk Road address is north of Hillham in Martin County, exhibited signs of intoxication.
A blood draw at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center placed Brosmer’s blood alcohol content at .21%.
Authorities booked Brosmer into the Dubois County Security Center at 6:12 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of operating while intoxicated.
