CRYSTAL — An Orange County motorist’s car was totaled in a crash late Wednesday morning east of Crystal.
Aérienne Acuff, French Lick, was westbound on State Road 56 in a 2009 Chevrolet Aveo when the 11:47 a.m. accident occurred near County Road 900E, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said Acuff was driving too fast for road conditions when she lost control of the car in a curve. The car exited the roadway and rolled several times before stopping.
A Dubois Volunteer Fire Department first responder and a Ruxer Ford wrecker assisted.
