IRELAND — A Cuzco woman complained of pain after a Wednesday night accident north of Ireland.
Kayce L. Fisher, 21, Cuzco, was northbound on County Road 500W in a 2007 Chrysler PT Cruiser when the 10:34 p.m. accident occurred at County Road 400N, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
Police said Fisher was driving too fast for wet road conditions when she came upon a 90-degree turn in the roadway. Her Chrysler crossed the centerline, ran off the north side of County Road 400N and stopped in a ditch.
Fisher complained of neck pain and was transported by ambulance for treatment at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center. A hospital spokeswoman said she was treated and released.
Damage was estimated to have exceeded $5,000.
The Ireland Volunteer Fire Department, Memorial Hospital Emergency Medical Services and a Uebelhor & Sons wrecker assisted.
