County reports no new COVID-19 cases

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today no new COVID-19 cases.
Of the county’s 256 cases, 219 have recovered and six deaths have been reported. A total of 2,570 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,570 tests. Of those, 1,384 were negative and 23 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported Wednesday 281 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 43,140 cases. A total of 2,386 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 192 probable deaths have been reported.
