County reports no new COVID-19 cases

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today no new COVID-19 cases.

Of the county’s 242 cases, 187 have recovered and five deaths have been reported. A total of 2,031 Dubois County residents have been tested.

According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,356 tests. Of those, 1,186 were negative and 19 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.

The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 440 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 40,786 cases. A total of 2,265 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 182 probable deaths have been reported.
