County reports nine new COVID-19 cases

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today nine new positive cases of COVID-19.
Of the county’s 804 cases, 658 have recovered and 17 deaths have been reported. A total of 6,402 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 4,406 tests. Of those, 3,908 were negative. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported 688 new cases as of Sunday, bringing the statewide total to 87,592 cases. A total of 3,008 Hoosiers have died from the virus. Another 217 probable deaths have been reported.
