County confirms 7th COVID-19 death

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department confirmed this afternoon the county's seventh death related to COVID-19.
“It is with tremendous sorrow that we share the news of another loss of one of our own county residents related to COVID-19,” Dubois County Health Officer Dr. Ted Waflart said in a news release. “Having to report a loss is never easy. Dubois County Health Department staff and I extend prayers and deepest condolences to this individual’s family and friends during this time.”
The county health department reported 25 new COVID-19 cases this morning. Of the county’s 344 cases, 257 have recovered. A total of 3,484 Dubois County residents have been tested.
