JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported seven new COVID-19 cases today.
Of the county’s 297 cases, 250 have recovered and six deaths have been reported. A total of 3,242 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 2,025 tests. Of those, 1,770 were negative and 52 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 748 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 50,300 cases. A total of 2,555 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 193 probable deaths have been reported.
