County reports 47 COVID-19 cases from weekendJuly 20, 2020

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported 47 new COVID-19 cases today.
This case count is cumulative and includes those confirmed over the course of the weekend. The department had not shared a case update since Friday.
The case breakdown is as follows: 14 on Saturday, 24 on Sunday and nine today.
Of the county's 435 cases, 270 have recovered and seven deaths have been reported. A total of 3,865 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 2,469 tests. Of those, 2,200 were negative and zero are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 658 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 57,206 cases. A total of 2,632 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 193 probable deaths have been reported.
