County reports 3 new COVID-19 cases

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today three new positive cases of novel coronavirus, bringing the countywide total to 236 cases.

Of the county’s 236 cases, 173 have recovered and four deaths have been reported. A total of 1,897 Dubois County residents have been tested.

According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,280 tests. Of those, 1,104 were negative and 28 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.

ISDH reported today 452 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 39,156. A total of 2,214 Hoosiers have died from the virus. An additional 182 probable deaths have been reported.
