JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported 21 new COVID-19 cases today.
The county reported its seventh COVID-19-related death Tuesday afternoon.
Of the county’s 365 cases, 260 have recovered. A total of 3,603 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 2,236 tests. Of those, 2,002 were negative and zero are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 700 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 53,370 cases. A total of 2,592 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 193 probable deaths have been reported.
