JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today two new COVID-19 cases.
Of the county’s 260 cases, 237 have recovered and six deaths have been reported. A total of 2,789 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,683 tests. Of those, 1,506 were negative and nine are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 385 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 45,594 cases. A total of 2,448 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 192 probable deaths have been reported.
