County reports 2 new COVID-19 cases

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department confirmed today two more positive cases of novel coronavirus, bringing the countywide total to 231 cases.
Of the 231 cases, 157 have recovered and four deaths have been reported. A total of 1,781 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,181 tests. Of those, 1,022 were negative and 18 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
ISDH reported today 430 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 38,033. A total of 2,158 Hoosiers have died from the virus. An additional 181 probable deaths have been reported.
