County reports 2 more COVID-19 cases

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today two new positive cases of novel coronavirus, bringing the countywide total to 233 cases.
Of the county’s 233 cases, 173 have recovered and four deaths have been reported. A total of 1,818 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,247 tests. Of those, 1,076 were negative and 25 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
ISDH reported today 449 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 38,748. A total of 2,198 Hoosiers have died from the virus. An additional 182 probable deaths have been reported.
