County reports 15 new COVID-19 cases

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today 15 new COVID-19 cases.

Of the county’s 288 cases, 246 have recovered and six deaths have been reported. A total of 3,121 Dubois County residents have been tested.

According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,892 tests. Of those, 1,687 were negative and 16 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.

The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 314 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 48,626 cases. A total of 2,524 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 193 probable deaths have been reported.
