Of the county’s 1,021 cases, 870 have recovered and 19 deaths have been reported. A total of 8,514 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 6,388 tests. Of those, 5,678 were negative. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported Tuesday 761 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 119,066 cases. A total of 3,385 Hoosiers have died from the virus. Another 227 probable deaths have been reported.
Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center has a new COVID-19 drive-thru testing site located at the corner of Third Avenue and Rumbach Street in Jasper.
