County reports 1 new COVID-19 case

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today one new positive case of COVID-19.
Of the county’s 912 cases, 802 have recovered and 18 deaths have been reported. A total of 7,849 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 5,655 tests. Of those, 5,045 were negative. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported Monday 755 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 106,540 cases. A total of 3,215 Hoosiers have died from the virus. Another 224 probable deaths have been reported.
