County reports 1 new COVID-19 case

JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today one new COVID-19 case.

Of the county’s 261 cases, 239 have recovered and six deaths have been reported. A total of 2,817 Dubois County residents have been tested.

According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,733 tests. Of those, 1,546 were negative and 17 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.

The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 453 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 46,387 cases. A total of 2,469 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 193 probable deaths have been reported.
