JASPER — The Dubois County Health Department reported today one new COVID-19 case.
Of the county’s 243 cases, 192 have recovered and five deaths have been reported. A total of 2,031 Dubois County residents have been tested.
According to Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center’s COVID-19 Dashboard, the Jasper hospital has submitted 1,380 tests. Of those, 1,209 were negative and 20 are pending. The hospital notes that a patient’s address will determine what county reports the positive case.
The Indiana State Department of Health reported today 264 new cases, bringing the statewide total to 41,013 cases. A total of 2,289 Hoosiers have died from the virus and another 186 probable deaths have been reported.
