Cory L. Fleck of Jasper and Danny W. Mathes of Corydon exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2013, in Old Capitol United Methodist Church in Corydon. The Rev. Andy Hansen officiated at the double ring ceremony.
Glen and Ann Fleck of Jasper and Eddie and Karen Mathes of Corydon are parents of the couple.
Mary Sue Boeglin, aunt of the bride, sang for the ceremony, accompanied by audio-tech Brian Sterm, friend of the bridegroom.
Reader was Mary Jean Mathes, aunt of the bridegroom.
Distributing programs were Savannah Yates, friend of the bride, and Kylie Evans, cousin of the bridegroom.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. She chose a strapless, A-line gown of champagne satin with a taupe band at the waist that extended to the back to form streamers.. Glass beading and sequins embellished the gown. A veil of double tulle had beading and sequins. The bride carried a cluster of white alstromeria with a lace handkerchief and a rosary from her grandmother.
Julie Evans of Huntingburg, friend of the bride, was matron of honor. Brittany Cato of Celestine, friend of the bride, was maid of honor. Also attending the bride were Amber Fleck of Jasper, sister-in-law of the bride, and Jessica Alloway and Emily Peters of Jasper, friends of the bride.
They wore long, formal, strapless gowns of chocolate satin with teal bands at the waists and streamers down the backs. They carried clusters of orange alstromeria.
The flower girl was Kelly Evans of Huntingburg, godchild of the bridegroom. She wore a champagne satin dress with a teal band at the waist and streamers down the back and carried a basket of orange and white petals that she dropped as she walked down the aisle.
Mr. Mathes chose a friend, Bryan Maggard of Jefferson, as best man. Groomsmen and ushers were Josh Rowley of Corydon, Jake Wiseman of Bloomington and Bill Keighon of Louisville, Ky., friends of the bridegroom; Jesse Evans of Huntingburg, cousin of the bridegroom; and Chad and Brett Fleck of Jasper, brothers of the bride. Ring bearers were Landon and Jackson Mathes of Corydon, sons of the bridegroom.
Mrs. Fleck wore a floor-length black dress with a sweetheart neckline and a jacket edged with silver sequins. Mrs. Mathes wore a floor-length purple dress with a matching jacket.
A reception followed at the Crawford County 4-H Fairgrounds. Kaitlyn Evans, cousin of the bridegroom, and Olivia Ferriell, friend of the bride, attended the guest book.
After a wedding trip to Gulf Shores, the couple is residing in Corydon.
The bride graduated from Jasper High School and Vincennes University Jasper Campus. She is an intermediate special education teacher at East Washington Elementary School. The bridegroom, a graduate of Corydon High School, is an engineer for Norfolk Southern Railroad.
