JASPER — A program participant at the Dubois County Community Corrections Center was jailed and accused of a new criminal offense Sunday night.
A Dubois County Sheriff’s Office deputy took Joshua D. Ransom, 19, 2050 Lincoln Drive, Huntingburg, into custody at 10:40 p.m. after being notified that contraband had been found at the 257 Brucke Strasse center.
Authorities reported finding a pipe with marijuana residue.
Ransom was booked into the Dubois County Security Center at 10:42 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of possession of paraphernalia.
