JASPER — A new name for Jasper Municipal Golf Course will be chosen via a contest.
The Jasper Park and Recreation Department announced the contest today. It is open to the public and entries are due by Jan. 9
The city park board heard last week from the Dubois County Visitors Center & Tourism Commission that a new name would help market the golf course.
Name suggestions should be mailed to the Jasper Park and Recreation Department, 1301 St. Charles St., Jasper IN 47546. Entries should include the proposed name along with the entrant’s name and phone number.
The person who submits the winning entry will receive a prize from the golf course.
