Concert will help pay medical expenses
JASPER — A benefit concert for Tom Carie will be held Saturday, March 9, at the Jasper Outdoor Recreation, 559 W. 500N.
Black Orchid, featuring Haysville native Matt Schroeder, will entertain from 6 to 8:30 p.m. One Night Stand, featuring Haysville resident Evan Dorsam, will play from 8:30 to 11 p.m. A donation of $5 will be taken at the door.
The benefit will help raise funds to offset medical expenses for Carie and his wife, Deb, and their daughter, Hailey, during his journey to get a new heart.
The event will include a cash bar and burgers, hot dogs and chili for a donation. A silent auction and half pot also will be available.
Tickets are available by contacting Brett Dorsam at 812-630-2470 or Jana Gunselman at 812-630-9534. Tickets also may be purchased at the door.
