JASPER — A Jasper man is being accused of misdemeanor battery by bodily waste after an incident reported to police Friday evening.
The Dubois County Sheriff’s Office was called to the Dubois County Community Corrections Center next to the county jail at 6:10 p.m. when a man there reported he wanted to file charges against another community corrections participant.
During an ongoing argument, Jonathan S. Holt, 42, 1622 Newton St., Jasper, allegedly spit on the complainant, according to the sheriff’s office.
Authorities booked Holt into the Dubois County Security Center at 8:11 p.m. on a preliminary misdemeanor count of battery by bodily waste.
