Community Action Center sets new hoursMarch 24, 2020
The North Spencer Community Action Center, 5 N. Washington St., Dale, has announced new hours to help area residents navigate the changes being made to their lives because of COVID-19.
The center will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays through Wednesdays, from noon to 6 p.m. Thursdays and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays.
To utilize the center, pull around to the back garage door facing the church and ring the bell for assistance. People are being asked not the enter the building.
In addition, the center will not accept donations of clothing until further notice.
“We are focused on feeding our community,” a press release stated.
Monetary and food donations are being accepted. Residents interested in volunteering can contact Director Theresa Harney as 812-937-2796.
