Clifford Lee Cooper, 77, of Paoli, passed away Wednesday, November 7, 2018, at IU Health of Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington.
He was born on December 13, 1940, in Jasper to Asie Cooper and Pearl (Goodman) Cooper. He married Carolyn Pruett on June 28, 1976.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Kenneth Cooper and Jim Cooper; and three sisters, Ruby Lindsey, Janie Jones and Pauline Cooper.
He was U.S. Marine Veteran and served two tours as a Vietnam Veteran.
He was a factory laborer working at Simmons, Brittany and Best Chair in Paoli, Carpenter Body Works in Mitchell, JSI in French Lick and two years at the Patoka Dam.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, bowling, family and being a proud marine.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Cooper, Paoli, Indiana; three sons, Jeff A. Cooper, Jasper, Scott L. Cooper and Sarah, Virginia Beach, Virginia; and Eric W. Cooper and Jessie, Jasper,; two daughters, Diana M. Ramsey, Paoli, and Mary E. Pickett and Roy, English; 13 grandchildren, Dustin, Dylan, Kelsey, Caleb, Olivia, Jordan, Julian, Alexis, Heaven, Nikki, TJ, Paul and Brandon; two great-grandchildren, Alex and Nolan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Services will be 1 p.m. Sunday, November 11, 2018, at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, with James Jones and Brian Hobson officiating. Interment will follow in the Paoli Community Cemetery in Paoli.
Visitation will be held Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 4 to 8 p.m. and from 9 a.m. until time of service on Sunday at the Dillman-Scott Funeral Home, 226 West Campbell St., Paoli.
