Lesley Toby of Huntingburg aimed her crossbow at a deer target as her 15-year-old twin step-children, Taylor and Trey, watched outside their home Thursday. The family spent the evening in their yard practicing shooting their crossbow and compound bows. Lesley’s husband, Todd, has been hunting since he was 8 years old. “I just try to teach them to make a good clean shot,” Todd said. Trey started hunting last year and usually practices at least twice a week.
