Clara D. Hollen, 79, of Jasper, formerly of Paoli, passed away at 8:07 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
She was born on April 24, 1939, in Berea, Kentucky, to Fred and Ethel (Gabbard) Kindrick. She married Robert P. Hollen on Sept. 18, 1954. He preceded her in death on Dec. 13, 2010.
Clara retired from Kimball in Jasper and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Jasper.
She is survived by one daughter, Sherry (John) Hagman, St. Meinrad; one son, Randall Hollen, Evansville; four sisters, Evelina Tussey of Marengo, Wanda Snider of Arthur, Illinois, Donna Richey of Scottsburg and Linda Roberts of Salem; one brother, Denny Kindrick, Pekin; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Clara was preceded in death by four brothers, Harold, Kenneth, Raymond and Russell Kindrick; one daughter, Sandra Kay Hollen; and one son, Gerald Paul Hollen.
The funeral will take place at 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at McAdams Mortuary, 400 SW First St., Paoli. Brother Harvey McAdams will officiate at the service. Burial will follow at the Paoli Community Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
