Clara Bailey Olear, 92, of Evansville, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 3:50 p.m. Monday, August 26, 2019, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.
She was born July 18, 1927, in Warrick County, to Roscoe and Hester (Brammer) Carnahan.
Clara graduated from Huntingburg High School; worked as a reflexology therapist; and was a member of the United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ed Olear; two brothers, Clyde Carnahan and Lloyd Carnahan; one sister, Mary Ellen Blume; and one grandson, Evan Bailey.
She is survived by two children, Fran Johnson of Jasper and Wayne Bailey of Evansville; three grandchildren, Rachel (Chris) Uebelhor of Jasper, Luke (Danielle) Bailey of Evansville and David Bailey of Evansville; and two great-grandchildren, Kelby and Kalea Uebelhor.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 31, 2019, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg. Pastor Lee Campbell will officiate.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 2:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, August 30. Memorial contributions can be made to the Huntingburg United Methodist Church.
