HUNTINGBURG — The City of Huntingburg is reminding residents about property maintenance measures.
The city advises resdients to:
• Keep grass mowed regularly.
• Do not blow grass into the street, inlets or sidewalks.
• If you have a storm inlet in the curb in front of your house, keep it clean and clear of any debris, which will help with flooding.
• If you have an open end of a pipe or any type of storm water feature in your yard, keep it clear of debris.
The Limb Yard, located at 1103 E. First St., is open every day from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Accepted yard waste includes: limbs, bush trimmings, grass clippings, etc. Do not leave empty trash bags behind.
Citywide limb pickup takes place on the first and third Monday of every month. Call City Hall at 812-683-2211 to place your address on the pickup list.
