Cindy Laake of Jasper became the bride of Chuck Recker, also of Jasper, in a 2 p.m. ceremony Saturday, Sept. 14, 2013. Father John Boeglin officiated in Holy Family Catholic Church, Jasper.
Parents of the couple are Allen and Ann Laake and Sylvia Recker of Jasper and the late Oscar Recker Jr.
Dan Racicot played the organ as Mark Schroering sang for the ceremony.
Lectors were Lisa Recker, sister-in-law of the bridegroom, and Sandy Hemmerlein, friend of the couple.
Pam Lampert of St. Anthony was matron of honor for her sister. Junior bridesmaid was Elizabeth Recker of Jasper, niece of the bridegroom. Emily Recker of Jasper, godchild of the bridegroom, was miniature bride.
Mr. Recker chose his brother, Fred Recker of Jasper, as best man. Ushers were Aaron and Andrew Recker of Huntingburg, sons of the bridegroom.
A reception was held at KlubHaus 61 in Jasper. Demi Jahn and Lauren Hildenbrand, cousins of the bride, and Tori Hemmerlein, friend of the couple, registered guests.
After a wedding trip to Isle of Palms, S.C., the couple is at home in Jasper.
The bride is employed by Kimball International Corporate Financial Shared Services. Mr. Recker is an employee of Seufert Construction.
