Christopher Douglas Mendenhall, 48, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Friday, Dec. 27, 2019, at the University of Louisville Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born in Danville on July 13, 1971, to Brian Lee and Glenda Louise (Berry) Mendenhall.
Christopher graduated from Greencastle High School in 1990 and was self-employed.
He was a United States Army Veteran of Desert Storm, and a member of the French Lick American Legion Post 76, where he served as the Sergeant of Arms for the Honor Guard Team.
Christopher is survived by his companion, Donna Missy Montgomery; his parents, Brian Lee and Glenda Louise Mendenhall; one daughter Brittany Cheyanne Mendenhall (Kris Slaten); two uncles, William Charles Needham and Bruce Mendenhall; paternal grandmother, Shirley Mendenhall; and maternal grandmother, Shirley Jolly (Dave).
The visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick.
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be conducted by Bro. Joe Crow at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020, at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home. Following the Ceremony, everyone is invited to French Lick American Legion Post 76.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service in French Lick.
