Christina Scherer and Blake Monroe exchanged wedding vows at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012. Pastor Paul Newland officiated in Central Christian Church in Huntingburg.
The bride is the daughter of David and Rhonda Scherer, 440 W. 15th St., Jasper. Mr. Monroe’s parents are Don and Mary Weyer, 332 E. 190N, Jasper.
Dan Racicot played the organ for the ceremony.
The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, chose a friend, Cylie Jones, Bloomington, as maid of honor. Brittany Scherer, Jasper, sister-in-law of the bride, and April Gray, Evansville, and Dayna Chandler, Shoals, sisters of the bridegroom, were bridesmaids. Miniature bride was Ariana Huffines, Jasper, daughter of the couple. Flower girl was Eden Gray, niece of the bridegroom.
Josh Malone, Jasper, a friend of the couple, was best man. Corey Scherer, Jasper, brother of the bride, and Pete Breitweiser, Jasper, and Jay Flamion, Ireland, friends of the couple, were groomsmen. Quinn Hardin and Brandon James, Jasper, friends of the couple, seated the guests. Ring bearers were Rylan Scherer, nephew of the bride, and Christian Gray, Evansville, nephew of the bridegroom.
A reception followed at The Polo Room in Jasper.
The couple is residing in Jasper.
The bride graduated from Jasper High School in 2007. The bride and bridegroom are employed at Jasper Chair Co.
