Cheryl Creek Hughes, 70, of French Lick, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2019, at her residence.
She was born on November 12, 1948, in Marion County, Illinois, to Clyde Harrison Creek Jr. and Helen “Mimi” Louis Morgan.
Cheryl married Robert Hughes on December 4, 1977, and he preceded her in death on September 5, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; and one grandson, Jason Charles Tinkle.
She is survived by two sons, Samuel Wayne Hughes and Shawn Michael Hughes, both of French Lick; two daughters, Leah Gale Englert (Jim), St. Anthony, and Marla Lynn Williams, Jasper; two brothers, Johnny Barker, Paoli, and Glen Barker (Lisa), Florida; three sisters, Vickie Dixon (Richard), French Lick, and Debra Kapp and Jan Navarro (Ganie), both of Hillham; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren
A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be held at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home on Saturday, March 16, at 5 p.m.
Friends may call on Saturday, March 16, from 3 p.m. until the time of service.
Arrangements are in the care of Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Service, French Lick.
