Charles R. Albright, Jr., 69, of Bloomington passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019, at I.U. Health Hospital in Bloomington. He was born in Brazil to Charles R. Sr. and Valera Jenkins Albright on November 5, 1950.
Charles was a 1968 graduate of Brazil High School. Early in his life, he was a sports reporter for the Brazil Times, and high school basketball referee. He spent the remainder of his professional life as a Salesman, working in the Grocery and Consumer Product Industry. He spent the last 21 years working for Kraft Foods/Mondelez International covering numerous territories throughout Central Indiana. He was a member of Elks Lodge #762, Sons of The American Legion Post #18, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge #1081. Charles was an avid golfer throughout his life, hitting 2 Career Hole in Ones’ at Forest Park Golf Course. His greatest loves in his life were his 6 Albrights (Brian, Quinn, Brady, Jackson, Jude and Mindy) and Anything Sports. His favorite teams were the New York Yankees, Indiana Hoosier’s Basketball, Notre Dame Football, and the Indianapolis Colts. His most envied sports icons were Bob Knight and Pete Rose.
Preceding him in death besides his parents are Son, Brynn Jordan Albright, and Sister Rita Albright Nobles.
He was survived by Son, Brian Albright and Granddaughter Quinn Albright both of Brazil, Son, Brady Albright and wife Mindy, 2 Grandsons Jackson and Jude Albright, all 4 of Jasper. Brother-in-Law, Larry Nobles of Staunton. Brother, Rod Albright and Wife Marcia of Carmel. Sister, Rhonda Barr and husband Tom of Plainfield. Sister, Rhea Langan and husband Michael of Indianapolis. 4 Nephews and 4 Nieces.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2019 at Annunciation Catholic Church, 19 N Alabama St., Brazil with Father John Hollowell officiating. Private Family Inurnment Services will be held at a later date.
Visitation is scheduled from 5:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday, December 5, 2019 at French Funeral Home, 421 E. National Ave., Brazil.
