Charity Lois Nicholson, 88, Cuzco
January 18, 2021Charity Lois Nicholson, 88, of Cuzco, Indiana entered into eternal rest on January 13th, 2021 at her residence.
She was born in Dubois County, Indiana on May 15th, 1932 to Thomas Archer and Charity (Harris) Archer.
Lois married Robert Leroy Nicholson and he preceded her in death.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; Aunt and Uncle who raised her - Elvis and Laura Harris; (1) Son – Steven L. Nicholson, D.D.S.; and (1) Brother – Wayne Harris.
Lois graduated from Springs Valley High School and was a member of the Hillham Church of Christ in Christian Union.
She had worked at Kimball International for over 20 years.
Leroy and Lois enjoyed going to yard sales together and attending their grandchildren’s sporting events. Lois enjoyed watching IU Basketball and attending her great-grandchildren’s sporting events.
Lois is survived by: (1) Son Barry Nicholson Cuzco, Indiana, (1) Brother Jim Harris Crystal, Indiana, (1) Sister Sue Harner French Lick, Indiana, (3) Grandchildren Tessa Neukam (Jack) Huntingburg, Indiana, Jason Nicholson (Lisa) Huntingburg, Indiana, Sarah Nicholson Huntingburg, Indiana, (5) Great – Grandchildren Kyler, Kaden and Kamren Neukam, Jax and Ilie Nicholson
A Private Funeral Ceremony will be held at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial to follow at Cuzco Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Cuzco Cemetery, c/o Peggy Burton, 5769 N. Cuzco Road S, Dubois, IN 47527.
