FERDINAND — For the third consecutive year, the Ferdinand Chamber of Commerce has set a new record for membership.
This year, the chamber has 150 members, breaking the 2012 record of 147. The 2011 record was 133 members.
“We have continued to support local events and initiatives while striving to add additional value for our members,” 2013 chamber President Jim Mehling said. “I feel that our success and growth is due, in large part, to the collaborative nature we have fostered with the town, Ferdinand Tourism
(Commission) and the Ferdinand Merchants Association. We are all working together, good things are happening, and our community as a whole is better for it.”
