Cats fall short in dual meetDecember 29, 2017

The Jasper Wildcat boys and girls swim teams were defeated by Hamilton Southeastern and Bedford North Lawrence in yesterday’s double dual swim meet at Jasper.
The Cats had several strong individual performances on both the boys and girls sides.
For the boys, Jason Fleck swam a 1:54.79 to place third in the 200 freestyle while Nolan Henke swam a 51.57 to place second in the 100 freestyle. Max Henke performed well in both the 200 individual medley (third, 2:11.28) and the 100 breastroke (third, 1:08.92).
On the girls team, Madison Matheis and Rhegann Weisheit both swam well in the 500 freestyle placing third and eighth respectively while Lindsey Mehringer performed well in both the 100 freestyle (second, 57.11) and the 200 freestyle (second, 2:05.67).
Jasper’s next meet will be next Tuesday at Boonville at 6 p.m.
