Carolyn N. Snyder, age 86 of Jasper, Indiana, passed away at 8:39 p.m. on Friday, May 21, 2021 at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper, Indiana.
Carolyn was born in Jasper, Indiana on May 11, 1935 to John and Hattie (Bauer) Harker. She married Edward Snyder on July 24, 1954. He preceded her in death on July 4, 1993.
She worked in the Food Services department at Memorial Hospital in Jasper for many years.
Carolyn was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper, and a member of the VFW Post #673 Auxiliary.
She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, and spending time with family.
Surviving are two daughters; Karen Englert (Dave), Ferdinand, and Sandra Goodwin, Haysville, one son; Mark Snyder (Peggy), Ireland, six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren, and two step great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death beside her husband was one stillborn son; Bradley Wayne Snyder, and one sister; Alene Taber.
Funeral services for Carolyn N. Snyder will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Trinity United Church of Christ in Jasper, Indiana, with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
A visitation will be held from 4pm until 7pm on Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and from 9 am until the 10 am service time at the church on Wednesday.
Masks and social distancing will be required for the visitation and service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ, or a favorite charity.
