Carolyn J. Moore, 83, Huntingburg
October 9, 2019Carolyn J. Moore, 83, of Huntingburg, passed away Tuesday, October 8, 2019, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

She was born November 5, 1935, in Petersburg to Frank and Alma (Carey) Shawhan.
Carolyn worked as a bookkeeper, was an avid IU basketball and Cardinals baseball fan, loved talking on the phone with friends and being with her grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Martha Roesner; one brother-in-law, Daryl Roesner; and one sister-in-law, Gaela Shawhan.
Carolyn is survived by one daughter, Becky Moore White of Otwell; one son and daughter-in-law, Stacy (Debra) Moore of Dale; three siblings, Patty (Ronnie) Erwin of Evansville, Jackie (Dave) Hasenour of Ireland and Tony Shawhan of Tennyson; five grandchildren, Cody, Summer, Clay, Craig and Kegan; and seven great-grandchildren.
Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2 to 6 p.m. ET on Sunday, October 13, 2019.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Rev. Ryan Hilderbrand will officiate at the service. Burial will take place at Walnut Hills Cemetery in Petersburg.
