Carl A. Fox, 73, of Orleans, formerly of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Oct. 24, 2019, at IU Health Bloomington.
He was born in Orange County on July 22, 1946, to Davie A. Fox and Locia E. (Proffitt) Fox. Carl married Billie J. Allen on Jan. 1, 1966, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one son. David W. Fox; one grandson, Daniel B. Allbright; four brothers, Hobart, Hughie, Eugene and Edward Fox; and six sisters Ruby, Viola, Geraldine, Bernice, Nina, and a sister in infancy.
He is survived by his wife, Billie Fox, Orleans; two daughters, Carla Miller (Rodney), Washington, and Debra L. Prewitt, Paoli; one sister, Christine Nelson West Baden Springs; six grandchildren, Ryan Miller (Jamie); Elisha Dewig; Tricia Russell (Curtis); David Allbright (Jacob); Kaitlynn Prewitt; and Tylar Prewitt; and four great-grandchildren, Emma, Brody, Henry and Clara.
The Funeral Ceremony will be conducted by Pastor David Galloway on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at 3 p.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, with burial to follow at Mount Lebanon Cemetery in French Lick.
Friends may call from noon until the time of service at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home.
