FERDINAND — A Perry County teen avoided injury in a single-vehicle accident late Friday northeast of Ferdinand.
Henry A. Hagedorn, 16, Bristow, was eastbound on County Road 825S in a 2016 Volkswagen Jetta when the 11:52 p.m. accident occurred east of Club Road, according to the Dubois County Sheriff’s Office.
A deputy said the Hagedorn Volkswagen failed to negotiate a sharp curve in the roadway and struck a ditch embankment. The car stopped in a roadside field.
Hagedorn declined EMS at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
A Berg’s Garage wrecker assisted.
